#111 Once In a Lullaby 

Tropical sun, salt air and storms off the ocean combine to make Hawaii the land of rainbows. An almost daily occurrence, rainbows grace the skies here in spectacular fashion. This particular day in South Maui, the dark threatening sky was pierced by a rainbow diving into distant ocean. The fading afternoon light just skimming the tops of the rocky cliff added drama to an almost surreal scene. It reminded me of the lyrics to the famous song from the Wizard of Oz

“Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high….

There’s a land that I heard of ,
