Q. What does it cost to ship a painting or print?
That depends... Smaller paintings are simple to ship. Larger pieces require crating. I usually ship via FedEx. I will do all I can to minimize shipping costs, but shipping is expensive. I will calculate a shipping cost and let you know how much it will be before you finalize the purchase.
At this time, I only ship to addresses in the US.
Q. What are the options for prints?
At this time, I am offering prints on either canvas or high-quality art paper. They can be printed up to 44" wide by almost any length. Canvas prints are sprayed with a protective coating and are available as flat prints or stretched over 1.5'' thick wooden stretcher bars that will arrive ready to hang. Prints less than 16' x 20" will be shipped flat. Larger flat prints will be shipped rolled in a tube. Large stretched canvas prints will require crating just like an original.
Q. What does "Giclee" mean?
Giclee (pronounced "zhee'clay") is a type of fine art print created by using a specialized high-resolution inkjet printer. Giclee prints stand apart
with their extremely high level of quality and longevity.
Q. What does "Gallery Wrap" mean?
A Gallery-wrapped canvas simply means the canvas fabric is stretched over extra-deep (1.5") wooden stretcher bars. The canvas completely covers the stretcher bars and is attached to the back so no staples are visible. I always continue the painting over all 4 sides, giving a more dimensional look when viewed at an angle. Gallery wrap canvases require no additional framing, although they can be framed if you prefer.
