Winter waves on the North Shore are spectacular. Majestic, powerful, relentless, the stuff surfers dreams are made of. The range of blues in these monsters is the stuff artists dreams are made of. Pale, transparent turquoise where the warm sun blends with thin water. The intense electric blue that morphs into deep water Pacific blue. The soft green-blue seen through the foam dances with the lavender shadows. Trying to capture the movement and force of these waves and wrap it up in these amazing colors is one of my favorite challenges. - $990
